Toby Alderweireld admits he is no closer to signing a new contract at Tottenham, with that revelation likely to have Manchester United believing that they can still strike a deal.

The Belgium international is set to see his current agreement in north London expire at the end of the season, although Spurs do have the option to take up a 12-month extension which will activate a £25 million ($33m) buyout option for the 29-year-old’s many suitors.
The Catalan club are ready to pay around €130 million (£113m/$150m) for the Ajax pair, who have long been on Barca's radar.

Flamengo director of sport Carlos Noval denied that AC Milan have reached a deal to sign star Lucas Paqueta, though he believes a transfer could be finalised in "two weeks".

Reports had suggested that the deal was done and that Leonardo had helped swap the midfielder's decision to join Milan.

Atlanta United brushes off Almiron to Arsenal links

The midfielder is worth 'triple' the price being touted

Atlanta United's president Darren Eales has brushed off speculation that the club has reached a deal to sell Miguel Almiron to Arsenal this winter.

Reports surfaced last week that the midfielder would be sold to the Gunners, but the MLS side says no such deal exists.

Minnesota United isn't actively shopping Miguel Ibarra, but the club will have no shortage of options should it feel the need to move him on, according to The Athletic's Jeff Rueter.

The MLS outfit offloaded Christian Ramirez, another of the club's early cornerstone players, earlier in the season and the report claims that there will be multiple trade offers for Ibarra this winter.

Lucas turned down Real Madrid offer

Lucas Hernandez said he turned down the chance to leave Atletico for city rivals and La Liga giants Real Madrid.

"I didn't pay too much attention [to the offer]," Lucas said to RMC Sport.

Bailly is said to be frustrated with life at Old Trafford under Jose Mourinho, and could be tempted to leave Manchester in January.

Mauricio Pochettino is counted as an admirer of the Ivorian, while Unai Emery is familiar with the defender from his days in La Liga.

While Man Utd may be reluctant to sell to a rival, Bailly has started just five games for the club this season.

Sarri looking to bring Romagnoli to Chelsea

Maurizio Sarri is looking to bring Alessio Romagnoli to Chelsea, according to the Sun.

The AC Milan captain has been with the club for four years, but their recent tumultuous history and a lack of Champions League football weigh heavy on his shoulders.

Sarri is after a replacement for Gary Cahill, who could leave in January, as well as Andreas Christensen, who could also be leaving the club this year.

Juventus the latest club linked to Ramsey

Aaron Ramsey is now being linked to Juventus, according to the Daily Mail.

The Arsenal midfielder is out of a contract this summer and has reportedly drawn attention from a number of big clubs.

AC Milan beat Liverpool and Man Utd to Paqueta

AC Milan are set to sign Brazilian starlet Lucas Paqueta, according to the Sun.

Milan have agreed to a £30 million ($39.6m) deal for the 21-year-old midfielder and is expected to join in January.

The Flamengo product had also drawn interest from Liverpool and Manchester United as well as PSG and Barcelona
