Student poses with nuisance alligator for graduation celebration (photos)

A university student took her graduation celebration to another level by posing with a massive  alligator in all laughter snaps.

Makenzie Noland, a student at Texas A&M University who will graduate on Friday with a degree in wildlife and fisheries sciences made sure that her graduation pictures will be something to remember for a long time.

She posted the photographs on her Facebook page with the caption “Not your typical graduation picture”.

One of the photos shows Noland balancing her graduation ring on the nose of the alligator, named Big Tex, while wearing her Texas A&M sash and cap.

Noland developed a special bond with the animal after working closely with him since her first day at the animal centre.

The graduate is responsible for Big Tex’s daily feeding sessions, which often attract a large crowd, and the beast has never attempted to harm Noland.
After posting her graduation pictures online, people warmed up to her acts and has made the pictures gone viral. Makenzie says she has been overwhelmed by the reaction to her posts, which have now been shared and liked hundreds of times.

"I was not expecting this; I just expected to post a couple of cute photos on my Instagram. It's been incredible."
